Environmental analysis laboratory handbook
Today, environmental issues are a cause of concern at a global level, and various universities and institutes around the world are involved in research related to it. Moreover, environmental science and environmental biotechnology are an inherent part of various courses while some universities provide degrees in same. Although environment perspective of water is discussed
time and again in research, academic and non-academic discussions, we didn’t come across any book summarizing protocols involved in water quality analysis. The information seems to be sporadically distributed on the internet.
Further, if available it doesn’t discuss limits of the protocol or caveats involved, just as chemical oxygen demand essays available across the internet mostly don’t discuss the difference between organic compounds of biological origin and aliphatic/aromatic. All the protocols discussed in the book are in simplified and easy-to-understand manner. We have mentioned ways to back track the information in case anomaly or ambiguity is found in the result. The book has been written after elaborative discussions with fellow faculty and research students to ensure clarity.
